Traction motor brush holder

The brush holder refers to the mechanical guide groove that holds and maintains the position of the carbon brush in the brushed motor. It is composed of major parts such as the brush box, scroll spring and pressure finger. It is the component that mounts the brush and keeps it in contact with the sliding surface under pressure.
